Here are some perl scripts.

• Perl IRC Bot Test

  This is not much more than a test, but maybe you can learn from it or base your own (hardcoded) bot for a specific application on it. The old version is probably nothing for you, but should be easier understandable. It's the first time I did anything with sockets and is dated back 2004 maybe... So I advise you to at least try to understand 0.03

  The modern version from 0.0.4 on is a lot more functional and better (still not too good); as I'm lazy, the descriptions for it are just to be found in the header of the file.

• lagrange.pl - a simple script to calculate the value of a sequence at a specific index using any number of already defined values of the sequence following after each other. (comments inside) This is of course just a quick hack...
• search-and-replace.pl - Do a search and replace on any defined plaintext file using a .csv (Comma Separated Value file) as a search and replace list (first column search, second column replace).
